Our adoption journey.
When my husband and I first began our journey to adopt our daughter, I realized the importance of documenting every moment, but I struggled to find photographers that specialized in adoption photography.
While traditional family photographers focus on smiles and happiness, adoption doesn’t always look like that. There’s pain and there’s grief.
But there is oh, so much beauty and joy in the midst of it all!
As an adoption photographer, my goal is to capture images that accurately portray the full story of adoption in all its raw beauty.

As an adoptive mom, I understand the contradictory emotions that come with adoption. And I am certainly not shy about discussing the hard (my life has been full of hard!), but I believe in finding the beauty in the midst of the hard.
I create a safe space for you to stop worrying about taking pictures in those special moments when you first meet, make it official, or casually spend time with your child. Instead, you can simply focus on bonding with them, relax, and be present in the moment.
Trust me: it goes by so quickly, that it’s often hard to remember all of those little moments. These images will give you the chance to relive the day over and over again.
