In 2014, loved ones encouraged her to take her gift to the next level and share it with the world. From there, she was inspired to transform her passion into a fulfilling career.
From her earliest days, she has always been the friend with a camera in hand, documenting memories that nourish her soul.
Adopting her first child in 2017, and a second in 2022, and becoming a caregiver to her mother with Alzheimer's. All of these moments have left an indelible mark personally and professionally. Even in her toughest of years, she finds beauty in the midst of the hard.
With a background in mental health therapy, she has struck a profound balance blending therapy and photography—two passions that have enriched her life. This balance has led her to capture enchanting images documenting the adoption process, diverse family dynamics, and life's most important milestones.
Meet Jenni
Her journey has been shaped by pivotal life events that have influenced her mission and perspective behind the lens:
Jenni grew up baking the same sugar cookie recipe with her mom every year. The aroma of sugar, butter, and flour still transports her back to those cherished moments today. When her mother was diagnosed with dementia, Jenni arranged for a photographer to capture them making cookies together. This was her way of preserving a treasured tradition and ensuring these memories would live on. She wanted these images compiled in a book, a tribute that would allow her children to carry a piece of their grandmother with them, despite her absence.
This experience left a handprint so clear on Jenni’s heart that it inspired her to offer the same meaningful support to families across Indiana.
Her leadership today is guided by the values that blossomed from this personal journey.
